What Astra collects
Astra accounts use your email address, plan status, billing identifiers, and secure session data so you can sign in, manage subscriptions, and use paid cloud features.

Privacy Policy
Effective May 30, 2026. Astra is operated by Teralabs for the Astra macOS, iPhone, and cloud productivity experience.
Productivity data
Astra is local-first. Cloud backup and sync only store the encrypted or encoded app data you choose to send, such as tasks, focus sessions, habit records, expense snapshots, journal sync payloads, and device metadata.
AI features
Paid AI features send the minimum task, activity, or journal context needed to produce scores, summaries, reports, and Daily Letters. Bring-your-own-key and Pro controls are designed to keep that routing explicit.
OAuth and billing
Google and Apple sign-in provide verified identity details such as email address and account subject identifiers. Apple In-App Purchase handles iPhone subscriptions, and Stripe handles web billing and portal sessions; Astra stores only the subscription state needed to unlock the right plan.
